Chapter 5

Ms. Sally

Finally, I will get the revenge I deserve on Darren. He thought that he could just play me like I’m one of these young hoes in the streets. I tried to show him that I loved him, but did he care? NO! Well now its time to show him that if I cant have him, then nobody else will. The only problem now is Renee. I don’t know why she cant just do as I tell her. She thinks that I don’t know about her petty little beef with her sister, but I do. And if she fucks up my plan, then I will gladly eliminate her just like I did my last husband.

Janet

This is not the first time that my husband has cheated on me, but I had decided a long time that the last time was going to be his last time. I cant believe that I invested so much time with him. I gave up damn near everything I had to be the perfect wife for him. I stayed with him even after the bastard gave me gonorrhea. He is going to pay this time. I already have a plan for his unfaithful ass. By the time I’m done he wont have anything left of him mentally or physically and damn sure not financially. No more happy housewife. He is going to feel the wrath of a woman scorned.

Beverly

Deep in my heart I know that what Ms. Sally had said was true , but I guess I am in denial because I cant accept the fact that  my baby girl is sleeping with Darren. He had to have taken advantage of her. He knows that Renee has been seeking attention from somebody since my husband died. That bastard! My daughter wouldn’t have done anything like if he hadn’t manipulated her young, naïve mind. I should - my cell phone rings interrupting me thoughts. The call is from a blocked number.

“Hello.” Nobody said anything on the other line so once again I said “Hello.” Still no answer so I decided to hang up the phone because I got too much shit on my mind to be playing bullshit ass games. Not even 30 seconds after I hung the phone, the anonymous caller called again.

Fed up with the bullshit I yelled, “Who the fuck is this?!”

“Bitch don’t worry about who this is, you just make sure you leave my man alone.”

“Who the hell is your man?”

“Hoe don’t play dumb with me. You and them trashy ass daughters of yours better leave my man alone before I fuck all of yall up!”

“If you bad then come do it. If you know my cell phone number then you obviously know my address. Come on over here and make true of your little threats.”

“Bitch be careful of what you wish for.”

The dumb bitch hung up the phone in my face. Darren was starting to cause more trouble than he was worth. I started getting dressed so that I could go pay Darren a visit because shit was starting to get out of hand.

Denasia

It was close to midnight and I was sitting on the couch in the living room when Renee walked in.

“Where have you been?”

“None of your damn business!”

“Renee why do you have to be so mean all the time?”

“I’m not mean all the time, only when you come around.”

“Why do you have so much hatred towards me? Did I do something to that you are holding in? We used to be so close before daddy died.”

“The key word was use to. That was before mama started walking around praising you all the time as if your shit don’t stink. I’m tired of living in your shadow.”

“I should’ve known that all of this is because your jealous of me. You need to grow up and stop being so childish because you are starting to stress mama out with your pettiness.”

“Oh I’m stressing mama out. Lets see who is going to be stressing her out when she finds out that you are fucking her future husband. That’s right bitch I know.”

I wanted to deny her accusations, but my mouth wouldn’t move. How did she know? I made sure that I covered all of my tracks.

“Don’t tell me that you don’t have nothing to say. I knew that would make your hypocritical ass shut up.”

Renee started up the stairs and not wanting her to go tell my mama what’s going on I ran behind her. 

“Renee wait let me explain.” I grabbed her arm to prevent her from going any further.

“Get me go!” She yelled and then she forcefully pushed me down the stairs. That’s all I remember before I blacked out.
