“What did you say baby?”

“What did Brandon mean by the Vanessa situation?”

“Oh, you remember my assistant Vanessa right?”

“Yeah I remember her.’

“Well she was seeing Kyle from the office.”   

“Kyle?”    “Isn’t he married, with like 3 children?”

“Yeah he is.”

“Well she did not want to continue the affair; she broke it off with him.  He was furious, and he threatened to have her fired.”  “She came to me with her concerns, and told me if she was fired she would seek legal advice.”  “ I calmed her down, and told her she had nothing to worry about, and that I would take care of it.”

“Would you look at you, coming to the rescue, and saving the day.”

“You know how I do, baby.”  “I just swoop right in, swoosh, and all the bad guys go running”

Shit, shit, shit; that was too close.  What the hell was she doing out here.  I almost lost everything, what the hell was Brandon thinking by even mentioning Vanessa.  Well anyway she bought my story.  Now all I have to do is find a solution to this really big problem.  Vanessa expects me to end my marriage and be with her, and the baby.  If Donna ever finds out the truth about Vanessa my marriage is over.  Now what the hell am I going to do?  I need to fix this and I need to fix it now. On one hand, I love my wife, and to lose her would be the worst thing that ever happened to me.  On the other hand, there is Vanessa, the woman who is carrying my baby.   I have always wanted to be a father, a better father than my father ever was.  When I found out Donna could not conceive I was devastated.  My dream to have a house full of kids was destroyed.  Now I have the chance, only it comes with a great sacrifice; my wife.  I now have to find a way to tell Donna about the baby, and not have her leave me, and to keep Vanessa in my life because of the baby.

I know one thing is for sure. When I tell Donna about the baby, if she does not leave me; I will be faithful to her till the day I die.  I will not risk my marriage anymore, it is not worth it.
