Freaky Friday (Part 11) It’s Friday night and my boy Taye called and want to hangout. I have not seen Taye in a while since I got Mr. Malek bipolar azz staying here. I told Taye about what happened the other day about how Malek stomped Ahmad and he cried laughing. I told him that sh*t ain’t funny. Every since that night I have been sleeping with one eye open. I hope when Taye comes over he will behave himself, but I really don’t expect him to. Taye can’t wait to meet Malek and I am not sure how that is going to go. I told Malek I have to work tonight since I am Artist & Repertoire Coordinator for Hard Muscle Records. I am responsible for finding talent for the company to sign. As the A&R Coordinator I search for new talent by visiting clubs, going to showcases, listening to tapes and demo recordings, and watching videotapes of acts performing. I also try to sign up known talent, such as artists under contract with other labels. I am also responsible for helping find songs for the artists signed to the record label. Malek asked if he could go and I said sure you can hangout with Taye while I am working. Malek asked if I had something for him to wear and some money for drinks and of course I said yes and sponsored him for two hundred dollars. The door bell rings and of course it is Taye Lamar, sup Jason Alexander where is Mr. Bipolar? I was like, shut the f*ck up before he hears you and I’ll have to pick your azz up off the floor. Taye says, I need a drink and goes to the kitchen and fixes him a drink. Damn I hope he does not get drunk tonight because he gets ugly when he is drunk. Taye Lamar gushes down two drinks in minutes, I start praying Lord don’t let him act a fool. I see Malek coming down the hallway and I must say my baby is looking phine azz hell. He sure cleans up well and he got on my Hugo Boss from head to toe. Malek comes into the room and Taye says under his breath, Mr. Bipolar has arrived. I am on pins and needles, just then Malek says you must be Taye and I say Taye Lamar this is Malek Dupree. Taye then says nice outfit, hmm it sure looks familiar and Malek says I will let you have that one but not too many more. Malek says so, Taye why are you drinking by yourself? Taye says do you want to join me and Malek says f*ck yeah I will take mine straight. With all this alcohol flowing before we get to the club I sure hope this night goes off without any issues.
