You Think You Know...But (pt. 32)
“What are you doing here?” Robin asked, shocked to find Jay at her door before ten o’clock in the morning. It was her day, so she was dressed in nothing more than a t-shirt that barely covered her undies and big bunny rabbit slippers that she reserved for her lounge about days. Her was pulled up in a ponytail as she had just gotten out of the shower and had planned to spend the rest of her day watching soap operas and the women’s network channel, while eating bowl after bowl of cereal. She hadn’t long gotten back from dropping the girls off to school and nursery, while Monique had left the house early to prepare for some important meeting at work or so she had said. She folded her arms as she waited to see just what had brought her estranged husband to her door.
“Can I come in? I really need to talk to you.” Jay ... You Think You Know...But (pt. 31)
Her pride wanted her to wash away her tears in an effort to pull herself together, because crying was for girls…stupid one, but her heart longed for comfort from the man who mattered most to her. Her feet couldn’t move her to his arms fast enough to suit her soul. She buried her face in his chest and wept inside the comfort of his embrace. The security he provided was somewhat spiritual, as tightened his arms around her, giving her what she need most. He kissed the top of her forehead and swayed gently from side to side in an attempt to whisk away to demons that were tormenting her. She locked her hands around his waist, afraid that he may slip away if she didn’t hold on tight. Her mind went to could find no thoughts as the billowing sound of his baritone voice probed for answers to questions that she herself could answer. She ...
You Think You Know...But (pt. 30)
It had been almost year now that Sasha had opened the door that should have ended Jay’s marriage, but he was still holding on to the hope that Robin would forgive him and try to make their marriage work. Jay’s pursuit of marital reconciliation, meant Sasha’s dream of marital bliss was put on the back burner until she was able to convince Jay that there was no chance of saving his marriage. She had been trying to get him to move in with her for the past three months, ever since he’d told her that Robin had confess that their daughter wasn’t his. Jay seemed convinced that Robin was lying and just trying to get back at him for what he had done. Sasha on the other hand was convinced that Robin was telling the truth and determined to use Robin’s confession as a way to finally get Jay to break away from Robin for good.
Over ... COUNTERFEIT HOES#5
( JELLO & EGYPT )
I was mused by vick's attitude. she acted as if, she was vexed with me. I wonder if she was aware of Wise and I. HMM if so, why haven't she confronted me yet. Maybe Vick dont really know about the affair. Wise didn't mention her finding my missing gold necklace. So I could just be paranoid. After i left from Vick's house. I made my way to the eastside of Compton. Thats where Egypt and her baby daddy Caviar resided. Egypt was my first cousin on my mothers side of the family. she was also my favorite to. She knew all about the game. From getting money on the pole, pushing dope, plundering. Or breaking niggas wallets until it was empty. she was a hustler and I respected that. She told me she would turn me on to the game. when she felt that i was mentally ready. Now i am. I waited outside her complex for her to arrive. ten minutes pasted by and still ... COUNTERFEIT HOES#4
(VICK & JELLO)
I WAS BRUTALLY STABBED IN THE BACK. MY HEARTBEAT WAS SLOWLY GROWING DIM. I ALLOWED LOVE TO BLIND ME. AND BECAUSE OF MY LACK OF VISION. I WILL REMAIN HEARTLESS. NOW ITS TIME FOR REVENGE. NORMALLY A WOMEN WITH A BROKEN HEART WOULD. (a) BURN\BLEACH ALL OF HIS CLOTHING. (b)DESTROY HIS CAR. (c) BURN HIS HOUSE DOWN. OR (d) REACT WITH VIOLENCE. I WILL ATTACK. BUT NOW IS NOT THE TIME. THIS IS A DIFFERENT SITUATION. BECAUSE IT INVOLVES THE PERSON I TRUSTED THE MOST, JELLO. ATTEMPTING TO FIGHT HER WON'T HEAL A BROKEN HEART. BUT IT WOULD PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE. JUST FOR THE MOMENT. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SMILE FOR A LIFETIME. I WON'T MENTION THE GOLD NECKLACE TO WISE. INSTEAD I WILL LEAVE IT ON THE LIVING ROOM FLOOR. ITS BEST TO LEAVE HIM THINKING I HAVE NO CLUE. THE THOUGHT OF ME HAVING ANY KIND OF KNOWLEDGE OF HIM AND JELLO. WOULD MAKE MY PLAN TO ATTACK HARDER. WISE ... You Think You Know...But (pt. 29)
“So, when were you planning to tell me that you were sleeping with Momo?” Nikki asked tired of the charade that both she and her brother were living. She wanted to share her new infatuation with someone and he was the only one she could trust not to tell another living person. She sat on the corner of his desk, staring at him as he desperately tried to ignore her and her question. She had played this game with him countless times before. She would ask a question and he would play deaf only to break and tell her what she wanted to know in the end. She continued, “I know you two are getting it in and I just want you to know that I’m not mad at you. Even though you did a big no-no and cross that sacred fraternization line. I’m not at all mad at you. In fact, I’m actually happy for you. She seems to be a ...
You Think You Know...But (pt. 27)
Three days had passed and Monique hadn’t seen her boss. She had gotten her first bi-weekly phone call yesterday and he had remained all business throughout the entire conversation, which was something she was not used to. She had expected him to come in all day for their weekly face-to-face meeting but it was three thirty and there was still no sign of him. Still, she watched the clock constantly hoping that he would arrive at any second.
She wasn’t sure if she believed that they hadn’t had sex with the love bites, the empty condom box she had found on the floor next to his bed, waking up next to him nude and now his distant behavior. After she had awaken in his bed butt naked and been told that they were married, she had wanted to quit her job right on the spot. Even after he had convinced her that nothing happened, she ... You Think You Know...But (pt. 26)
He was the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen. He was perfect as all babies are, but Tia reasoned that her baby had to be the most beautiful baby on the planet and she had a room full of people there who agreed with her. She was shocked to see it but everyone from her old salon had paid her a visit to gush over her new pride and joy. Monique had even paid her a visit along with Velle and Robin and because it was such a joyous occasion, she hadn't told her to get the hell out of her room, like she had wanted to. Vanessa had been there the entire night and even though she had missed the delivery, Tia had not been alone during the miracle of birth. It had been a long night and now that the nurse’s had assured her that the baby would be well taken care of in the nursery, Tia was ready to finally get some sleep. Vanessa cleared her room ...
You Think You Know...But (pt. 19)
It was time to party. Velle and Nikki were celebrating their birthday and everyone who was anyone was there along with a few somebodies, who weren’t sure how they had been invited. The twins had spared no expense, using the one of their upscale nightclubs to throw their celebratory bash. There were giant ice sculptures of the twin’s initials, with an enormous birthday cake that featured pictures of birthdays past air brushed into the layers, the buffet table looked like something one would find on a cruise ship with every kind of food imaginable, and to top it off an open bar. There was an extensive wait staff, all dressed in formal attire and ready to attend to every whim of the party guests. They had dancers shaking it up in cages that were suspended from the ceiling. They had flown in both local and national talent with rumor spreading that ...
