Jay and Lyric believed the shower was a success until Savoy’s date acted the fucking fool. Jay’s and Marcus’ family said they would deliver all of the gifts to their home. Marcus’ mother couldn’t make it to the shower since she had to work. Although, she had promised she would be there. Both Jay and Marcus silently felt something else was under the works. Jay still hasn’t met his mother but she has spoken to her on the phone several times. Marcus has assured Jay that his mother likes her.
 
They grab Jay’s belongings. They are getting ready to leave when they heard gun fire ring out somewhere in the club. Lyric pushed Jay to the floor while telling her to stay put. Marcus wholeheartedly denies being the father of Coca’s children. He says repeatedly that he wasn’t aware that she had gotten pregnant. If so, he would have handled his responsibilities.  He told Jay, her father, her aunt, Walter, Lyric, and anyone else that was present and would listen that this was a set-up. He knows nothing of their existence. He pleaded with Jay. She just walked away with disgust on her face. She was so embarrassed. She knew this would be the talk of the century everyone from the hood was there.
 
Savoy had other plans. He pulled Coca and her kids into the first bathroom he saw. He immediately started grilling her about what was on her mind. Why would she do something like this at a baby shower? Coca started crying crocodile tears about how she wasn’t given the same treatment when she was pregnant by him. Savoy almost slapped her. ...

 
Jay and Marcus walk into Club One. They are pleasantly surprised. Lyric made some last minute changes unknown to them. Jay should have known that Lyric would put her own twist on the event. Marcus didn’t say anything. He didn’t want to ruin the moment for Jay. He didn’t want the gift table near the front of the dance floor, because that was a weak spot. It exposed all of them to the crowd. He hoped nothing went down tonight. Although, he made sure his boys were prepared for the worse. All he cared about was getting Jay somewhere safe.

Jay is finally ready. It took her long enough since her and Marcus was wearing identical outfits. They felt this would be cute and showed that they were a united front. She sneaks her Glock onto her person when Marcus stepped out of the room to get something. She wanted to be prepared. She knew anything could easily happen especially with the haters in the hood. They left the house. They agreed that they should be there to welcome the guest as they arrived. For the evening, Marcus pulled out his black on black Escalade. He rarely drove it around the hood it asked for too much attention; however, tonight was a special occasion. He wanted to make Jay as comfortable as possible. She has been silently complaining about pain for the last two days. He hoped that she didn’t go into labor during the shower. He wanted her to enjoy herself.

Marcus went placed the club to see if everything was as it should be. He was impressed with all the hard work that Lyric and the owner put into making the baby shower a success. He called his boy to ensure that he would be there on time for the party. He got the solid I will be there once I close out at the radio station. They spoke for a few more minutes, and then Marcus moved on. He left the club. He decided to drive through the hood to see what the word was.
 
As he drove, he spotted folks walking and driving around definitely getting ready for later. He knew some folks were planning on getting it in tonight.

Meanwhile, Pinkey had an odd feeling that something terrible is going to happen at the shower. She tried talking Ray out of attending, but Ray wouldn’t listen to reason. Pinkey considered going for extreme measures, and then she thought against it. She isn’t trying to get sucked into whatever is brewing around Ray and her associates.
 
It’s finally the day of the baby shower everyone is doing their last minute shopping, outfitting, etc for later on.
 
Jay and Marcus are excited. Marcus spoke to his family, confirming their attendance. He has a major surprise in store for Jay. He plans on asking her to marry him. Jay and Marcus get back into their regular routine. All the while, Savoy, Det. Cobbs, Brock, Ray, and Coca were all preparing to bring major drama in their direction. Jay sensed something was brewing. She hooked up with her cousin, Walter for dinner one night since Marcus had to go out of town on business. She didn’t feel like staying in the house or bothering Lyric who has been a great help during her pregnancy. She truly loved and appreciated her best friend. She and Walter met up at the 24 hour spot on Harford Road and Northern Parkway. She arrived at the restaurant before Walter. She waited a few minutes before the hostess noticed her and her belly. Ok, Ladies and Gents... I haven't been motivated to write lately, and it is hurting. I want to finsh the crossover asap!!!! so I am asking for your assistance.... who do you think should get killed at the baby shower? Should Jay and Marcus break up? Should Michael (Jay's father) go back to jail? and Should Lyric go to jail for drug trafficking?
